Lim Cannon is the "everything you ever wanted" reward for 100%-ing Unknown Signal. If you're reading this page, you are very close to the last locked door.
Overview
To reach the Lim Cannon, clear the main story, enter the Unknown Signal mode, and complete every Simulation Pod mission. That unlocks a hidden room — the cannon is waiting inside.

How it Works
- Fire mode — Heavy, slow-firing Lunafilament-charged shot.
- Range — Mid to long.
- OPEN interaction — One of the highest burst-damage sources in the game vs. OPEN weak points. It doesn't need to fire often to carry a fight.
Strengths
- Endgame-tier damage on a single trigger pull
- Your victory-lap weapon for cleanup runs, Chapter Select, Lunatic Difficulty, and trophy completion
- Feels distinctly different from every other Attack slot
Weaknesses
- Locked behind the longest completion gate in the game
- Slow enough that it's bad in a panic
- Ammo economy rewards patient use, not trigger-happy play
When to use / pair with
- Best in: Lunatic Difficulty runs, platinum / trophy mop-up, and replay boss fights you remember being painful.
- Pair with: Stasis Net to guarantee the shot lands, and Pulse Carbine to fill the gaps between big hits.
Upgrade Notes
By the time you have this, you should have the Upgrade Components to push it to max in one go. Prioritize damage — you're already at the end of the content you'd use it on.
