Lim Eraser isn't a weapon — it's the Cleanse ability that erases blue Lim barriers. Once Diana has it, every sector suddenly has more map in it than you thought.
Overview
Lim Eraser is Diana's answer to the blue-tinted Lim barriers you've been walking past since the first few Shelter trips. The Cradle is full of them: corridors behind a barrier, collectible rooms, shortcut doors. None of them open until Diana can delete the filament in the way.
You earn Lim Eraser through story progression — it's handed to you around the transition from Sector 3 · Terra Dome into the later chapters, not gated behind a hidden-room puzzle. If you're hunting collectibles and keep finding blue walls you can't touch, you haven't reached the unlock yet — keep pushing the main quest.
How it Works
- Activation — Diana fires the Cleanse on a blue Lim barrier; the barrier dissolves.
- Use case — Opens doors, windows, floor plates, and small alcoves you walked past earlier.
- Interaction with combat — This is a traversal / cleanup ability, not a combat tool. It doesn't replace your Attack or Tactical slot.
What it unlocks
- Blue Lim barriers — Sprinkled through every sector. A meaningful number of Upgrade Components and Read Earth Memories (REM) chips live behind these.
- Shortcut routes — Some sectors have Lim-gated doors that connect sub-areas; cleaning those up makes your collection runs much faster.
- Red Zone cleanup — A few Pure Lunum rooms in Red Zones are fenced off with Lim as well.
When to use it
- Backtrack run after story beats — Every time Diana gains a new ability, swing by the earlier sectors. Lim Eraser, in particular, is a big "re-visit everything" trigger.
- Before any trophy / platinum route planning — You won't clear collection achievements without it.
- With Read Earth Memories runs — Many REM chips live behind Lim barriers.
Notes
The game doesn't flag a proper interactive map or video tracker for Lim barriers. A few community-run maps are floating around if you want to sweep every blue barrier in one pass — ours is in the works.
